About

A small gym for a big habit.

Most people know copy and paste. Few know the shortcut for the tab they just closed, or how to jump a word at a time. Cuyahoga Tech turns the makers’ own shortcut lists into short, repeatable drills.

Who runs it

WeldonPC, a computer service business in Garfield Heights, Ohio, in Cuyahoga County. “Cuyahoga” is just where we are. This site is not run by or connected to Cuyahoga County, Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C), Cuyahoga Valley Career Center or any school, and it is not a course: there are no classes, grades or certificates.

Where the shortcuts come from

Every shortcut’s keys are copied from Microsoft’s, Apple’s or Google’s own help page, which is linked beside it; the descriptions are in our own words (see Sources). Microsoft, Apple and Google have nothing to do with this site. Some apps change their shortcuts; if one does not work for you, the linked page is the authority.

How the practice works

Each shortcut sits in a box from 0 to 5 on your practice card. A right answer moves it up one box and pushes the next review out (1, 2, 4, 8, then 16 days). A wrong answer drops it to box 1 and makes it due again today. Box 3 and up counts as “known”.

What it does not do

No accounts, no email, no tracking cookies, no AI. The public pages carry one banner ad from AdEngine, WeldonPC's own small ad network (see Privacy); a drill or your practice card never does. Nobody reads your answers: there is nothing to read except right, wrong and how long you took.
